Looking for somewhere to hold your trainings, games, meetings or events in 2026 – why not try our brand new fit-for-purpose facility?
The Open Country Community Stadium in Matamata is opening early next year, and we want to make sure all our local clubs and teams have the opportunity to submit an expression of interest.
We are hoping to accommodate as many groups as possible and make it a humming community space, so we’re currently gauging interest to see how they might all fit together.
Keeping in mind that the new stadium is a shared facility between Matamata College and the community, each will have allocated hours of use which are currently in discussion. Please note that there is also a Prioritisation of Use Policy, and we won’t be guaranteeing any bookings at this stage.
