In July 2022, Hinuera Rugby & Sports pulled together a community event which was an incredible night, fundraising for the Matamata Indoor Sports & Recreation Hub.
“When our club at Hinuera was approached by Matamata Sports Hub Group to see if we would be willing to contribute to their exciting and incredible new stadium, we all agreed as a committee, it was a no-brainer that we’d be behind it! This really aligns with our club being about our wider community and providing a facility that will bring people together with like-minded interests, to really enjoy life and relationships through sport” said Tony Brown, President of Hinuera Rugby & Sports.
