Matamata Stadium has its very first Gold donor!
Peter and Gillian McSweeney from Life Pharmacy Matamata have become the first Gold Donor for our amazing project, and we are super thankful to have this incredible couple on board.
“Our investment in Te Whare Whakapakari is an investment in Matamata, a town of which we are immensely proud. My parents, Kerry and Joan McSweeney were born and schooled here, as was my wife Gillian and I. Dad opened McSweeney’s Pharmacy in Matamata some 60 years ago in 1961 which is now Head Office for the McSweeney Pharmacy Group. Our ties to Matamata remain rock-solid. It is a huge privilege to support this project which will enhance a strong and thriving community for future generations” said Peter McSweeney.
